Job Overview

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance brand presence, engagement, and growth across digital platforms. This role involves creating and curating content, managing social media calendars, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize campaigns. A Social Media Manager collaborates with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging, leverages trends to boost visibility, and engages directly with the online community to build strong relationships. Beyond content management, the role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and adaptability to drive impactful digital storytelling and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to grow brand presence and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage content across platforms (posts, stories, reels, campaigns).
  • Plan and maintain content calendars to ensure timely and consistent posting.
  • Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages and building relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align messaging and visuals with brand identity.
  • Stay updated on trends and platform updates to leverage new features and maximize reach.
  • Manage paid campaigns and promotions to drive traffic, conversions, and audience growth.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar).
  • Content creation skills including copywriting, visual design basics, and storytelling.
  • Knowledge of paid advertising and campaign management across digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
  • Creativity and trend awareness to leverage new features and maximize engagement.
  • Organizational and time‑management skills for handling multiple campaigns simultaneously.
